Mary RMHCI (Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern)

Primary Therapist

Mary holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinician Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently an RMHCI (Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern), actively completing the post-masters requirements to obtain licensure in Florida. She has been serving clients at Peace Club since May, 2021.

Mary takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to counseling, tailoring treatment to the needs of each individual while striving to cultivate a therapeutic alliance based on genuineness, compassion, and respect where clients can feel safe, valued, and empowered to make meaningful progress.

The therapeutic modalities in which Mary has specialized training include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (TF-ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Strengths Based Strategies.
